In a highly competitive startup space, I was brought on to launch and lead the digital presence for SBIA — a high-ticket, subscription-based sports betting analytics platform. Our primary objective was to sell picks (tell our client which bet to take) through our model, and charge a premium price. We aimed to treat betting as an investment.

As one of only eight team members, I oversaw every layer of digital strategy, from content development and paid media to influencer partnerships and SEO infrastructure. We began by building the website platform from scratch using Wix, Web3 integrations, and C-language to support both public and member-facing dashboards. We used outside technology to our advantage, specifically Semrush, to expand our outreach. Within a year, we hosted over 3,000 paid subscribers and ranked on the first page of Google for “WNBA picks.”

Since our main clientele had a bigger bankroll, I decided to have companies do the majority of our advertising for us through influencer partnerships, email marketing & UGC. I built and scaled our content pipeline, led my small team, and negotiated brand partnerships with VSiN and Bleacher Report — instantly aligning SBIA with trusted names in the space and exposing us to over 25M+ followers.

In late 2024, SBIA sold its proprietary data to an overseas firm. SBIA was one of my proudest build-outs: lean team, high stakes, and real traction.
